About Mike Kelly

Mike Kelly has been involved in both fitness and athletics for almost 30 years (& he doesn't look a day over 30, so his  daughter tells him). Working in many facets of fitness, Mike is a Fitness Expert and canfitpro authorized "PRO TRAINER" (Instructor & Certifier of Personal Trainers). For over ten years through his teaching activities, Mike has been able to further strengthen his resolve to get more people living healthier life styles. To date, as Mike has trained hundreds of clients and then also, trained and certified approximately 1,000 new trainers, one can quickly see how all these new trainers are also going to be out there getting many people healthy. As a speaker, Mike is as comfortable presenting to 1,000 people as he is in a one to one situation (see our Seminar section). This sense of confidence comes from many years originally working in the business sector (& possibly a healthy ego).

Mike's concept of being consistent with one's health is covered in an approach he has coined as "REAL"
(a high level, modification of SMART concepts)

"R" stands for setting Realistic goals. If the goals are too far out of reach, you will only become de-motivated.

"E" stands for Enjoyable. If your training program is not fun, then why bother.

"A" stands for Accountable (to yourself). Putting together a well thought out plan will help you stay accountable to yourself.

"L" stands for Lasting results. Again, once the appropriate plan is put together, it needs to be structured as so to allow you continue it, to allow for lasting results.
