Q1. How do I start?

A1. By far, the most difficult part of changing your fitness level, is finding that initial motivation to start - this where a good personal trainer can help you determine what's best for you. As for your starting point, simply contact us for a free consultation to help access your situation.

Q2. Is doing a fitness program difficult?

A2. A good personal trainer can customize a fitness program for you that meets your specific needs and thus one that should be within your capabilities. It will require some effort, but again, the proper program, with a motivating trainer will help you attain your goals.

Q3. How long does a program take?

A3. This is completely dependent on what it is you are trying to attain and require in the way of support. If for example your goal is to become fit at a professional level of sport and you are starting from scratch, then this would be considered a long term commitment. If on the other hand, you want to gain back some of your youthful appearance and increase your energy levels, this is something that will take considerably less time depending on your present age and physical condition. A good personal trainer will work with to set out realistic time frames for attaining your goals.

Q4. So how much does it cost to hire a personal trainer?

A4. As with anything in life, you tend to get what you pay for - this also applies to the hiring of a personal trainer. From a general perspective, a basic range you could look at would be from $30/hour at your local YMCA to several hundred dollars/hour for a celebrity trainer.
